Vikrant Massey bagged the top honour at the 71st National Film Awards that were announced today in Delhi. The actor has won the Best Actor honour for his performance in the film ’12th Fail.’ Now, Massey stated how grateful he is to share the award with superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who bagged the title for his blockbuster movie, ‘Jawan.’

While Shah Rukh Khan and Vikrant Massey bagged the Best Actor award, Rani Mukerji was announced as the Best Actress for her film ‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway.’ ‘Kathal: A Jackfruit of Mystery’ won the Best Film (Hindi) Award. Meanwhile, Shilpa Rao was named as the Best Female Playback Singer for ‘Jawan.’ ‘The Kerala Story’ has been honoured in the category of Best Cinematography.
