In a deeply heartbreaking and shocking development, actress and reality TV personality Shefali Jariwala, popularly known as the Kaanta Laga girl, has reportedly passed away at the age of 42. The actress, who also gained fame through her stint on Bigg Boss 13, is said to have suffered a cardiac arrest on the night of June 27.According to reports, Shefali was rushed to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Andheri, Mumbai, by her husband and three others. Despite immediate medical attention, she was declared dead upon arrival. The hospital receptionist has confirmed the unfortunate news, stating, “Shefali had expired before she was brought in. Her husband and a few others accompanied the body.”Mika Singh mourns Shefali’s demiseSinger Mika Singh, a close friend of Shefali, was among the first from the entertainment fraternity to express his grief publicly. Sharing a photo of Shefali on Instagram, he wrote, “I’m deeply shocked, saddened, and feeling a heavy heart… Our beloved star and my dearest friend @shefalijariwala has left us. Still can’t believe it. You will always be remembered for your grace, smile, and spirit. Om Shanti 🙏🙏🙏”Entertainment journalist Vickey Lalwani also shared the news on social media, confirming Shefali’s demise. He wrote, “I can confirm that she was brought dead to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital (opposite Star Bazaar, Andheri) about 45 minutes prior to this post. Shefali was rushed to the hospital by her husband and three others.”He further quoted the hospital staff, who said Shefali was unresponsive upon arrival and that the receiving medical officer referred them to cardiologist Dr. Vijay Lulla.
