Rajkummar Rao is gearing up for the release of his film ‘Maalik’ but there’s a bigger news on the personal front. Rajkummar and Patralekha have announced that they’re expecting their first baby soon. They shared a post on social media which said, ‘Baby On The Way’. While everyone showered love and congratulatory wishes for the couple, they’ve now made their first public appearance together after making this announcement.The ‘Stree’ actor and Patralekha were spotted together at an event together and Rajkummar can be heard saying, “I’m going to be a great father because I’ve been a great husband.”WATCH VIDEO HERE:Meanwhile, during a chat with Hindustan Times, Rajkummar shared, “We are absolutely thrilled, to be honest. We feel like a lot of our friends, who are parents have been telling us, that this is going to be the best phase of your life. So, we are looking forward to it. And, it’s still sinking in.”He further added, “Every day is a new day. We have known each other for 15 years. We have grown up together. So, we are still sometimes like, ‘what, actually, this is happening. We’re going to be parents’. That being said, it is a beautiful feeling.”The actor also revealed he went to New Zealand with Patralekha while they discovered that she’s pregnant. “Apart from just being us, it was our first trip with the upcoming member of our family. And that is what makes it really special,” he said. Meanwhile, Rajkummar’s film ‘Maalik’ is set to release on July 11 and is clashing with Vikrant Massey starrer ‘Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyan’ which marks Shanaya Kapoor‘s debut.
